The Nineteenth-Century Studies Association (NCSA) offers a $1,000 BIPOC Scholar Travel Award annually to support in-person conference attendance. Eligible applicants must be current NCSA members who identify as Black, Indigenous, or other underrepresented people of color and have had a single-authored paper proposal accepted on any topic from the long nineteenth century. Virtual attendance disqualifies recipients. The application deadline is January 15, 2027, with winners notified by January 30, 2027.
