The YIVO Institute for Jewish Research offers the Fellowship in Yiddish Studies to support original doctoral, post-doctoral, or scholarly research in the field of Yiddish Studies, with a focus on linguistic, literary, or historical topics, conducted at YIVO's library and archival collections in New York. The fellowship provides a stipend of $10,000 for three months of research. Fellows are required to deliver a public lecture during or after their research period. The fellowship is part of the Max Weinreich Center Research Fellowships program, intended primarily for graduate students and emerging scholars.
