Refunds & Cancellation
Fourteen days to change your mind, anywhere in the world, with nothing deducted for what you used.
Your 14-day right
You may request a refund within 14 days of your first charge and receive a full refund, with no deduction of any kind for anything you used in that period.
This applies worldwide. There is no regional split, and no customer is offered less than the law where they live already gives them.
If the law where you live grants you a right of withdrawal — as the law of the European Union, the EEA, Switzerland and the United Kingdom does — that right cannot be waived or reduced by anything written on this page.
If you are in Australia, nothing on this page excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Annual plans
On an annual plan the same unconditional full-refund window runs to 30 days from your first charge.
No usage condition, and no cap
Eligibility does not depend on what you used. Running an AI analysis — a fit appraisal, a CV or cover-letter review, a portfolio audit, a venue recommendation — makes no difference to your refund, and neither does browsing the board, opening a listing, or receiving your alerts.
There is no limit on how many times a refund may be requested. This is not a once-per-account offer.
You do not need to give a reason.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancelling is self-serve — there is no retention step and no one you have to talk to first. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and renewals are not refunded.
After your paid access ends, your matched feed and saved searches become read-only. You can export your profile and saved entries at any time, and your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Who you buy from
Scholiad provides your subscription and everything in it — the listings feed, the alerts, and the AI analyses. Payment is handled by our payment partner and Merchant of Record — it takes your payment, appears on your statement, and issues every refund. A refund request reaches the same support team either way, so you do not need to work out who to ask.
How to request
- Use the Billing section of your Account page, or email [email protected] from — or naming — your account email address.
- An email to support counts as notice of withdrawal. No particular wording is required, and the date we receive it is the date of notice.
Refunds are issued through our payment provider to your original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may add a little time before the credit appears on your statement.
Add-on packs
Your refund window applies to an add-on pack exactly as it does to a subscription.
Pack credits do not expire. You can use them as long as your plan includes the feature they apply to — if you cancel or move to a plan without that feature, unused credits wait for you rather than being lost. Cancelling a subscription does not remove packs you have already bought.
Plan changes
Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the remainder of the current billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current cycle, so you keep what you have paid for. Switching between monthly and annual billing follows the same rules.
Fair use
Scholiad is one account per person; duplicate accounts are governed by our Terms of Service. Our payment partner does not issue refunds where there is evidence of fraud or refund abuse. Neither of these affects a refund owed on a legitimate account, or any statutory right.
If something went wrong
If you were charged in error, charged twice, or charged after cancelling, email [email protected] and it will be corrected.
If the service was faulty or not as described, your rights under local consumer law apply in addition to everything on this page.
This page explains refunds and cancellation in full; the wider legal terms are in our Terms of Service, and data handling is described in our Privacy Policy. Our Pricing page summarizes these same terms. Questions? Email [email protected].
